Can Rear Bar of etrailer Over the Cab Ladder Rack be Removed

Can the rear horizontal bar above the tailgate be removed for large cargo ?

Hey Adam, technically yes the rear bar of the etrailer over the cab truck ladder rack part # e78FV is removeable but it's going to be probably a little more work than you'll be interested in doing on a regular basis. Several bolts would have to be removed in order for it to come off.
To see how it all assembles you can check out the assembly video I linked to this page for you to check out. Around the 8:20 mark is where you can see the rear bar attaches.
What are you thinking about loading that would require the removal of that bar?
