How to Mount the Rear Jacks for the JT's Strong Arm Jack Stabilizer Kit

Updated 06/05/2025 | Published 06/03/2025

Question:

I have a 2020 Chaparral 373mbrb that has a spare tire holder between the rear landing gear on the frame. Can I bolt on a piece of angle iron across the frame in front of the tire to mount the strongarm to? This would mean that the brace would be at a angle toward the front of the 5th wheel or mount to the bracket that holds the spare, this would mean the braces would not be in the center but about a foot off the center line on each side? The last option would be to install the brace on the center landing gear.

Hey William, thanks for the information. The rear arms for the JT's Strong Arm Jack Stabilizer Kit item # LC191023 can be offset and not in a perfect line with the rear jacks on your 2020 Grand Design Reflection 337RLS. I recommend mounting the rear ones to whatever the sturdiest point would be. You don't need to move them to the center.
