Does the Malone EcoLight Sport Trailer Come with a Model Year and VIN for Registration?
Updated 09/13/2025 | Published 05/24/2025 >
Question:
Pennsylvania requires titling and registration of the trailers. Will I need to title this trailer as a Specially Constructed Trailer or regular trailer? Also, does this trailer come with Model Year and VIN number? If it does, where both can be found?

Hey Al, thanks for reaching out!
Once someone buys a trailer, like the Malone EcoLight Sport # MAL53FR, from us, we'll have a rep reach out to you to get you set up with the VIN and a title.
So we'll initiate it after the purchase has been made. I would imagine it would just be a regular trailer, but that's something you'll want to confirm with your local DMV as each State can have different rules.
What are you planning on using the trailer for?
