Can The CE Smith Extra Long Tongue Be Used On A 2022 Aluma MC210 Motorcycle Trailer?

Hi, I have a 2022 Aluma MC210 motorcycle trailer that Id like to extend the tongue on. This would be so that Id have the extra length to install the optional factory spare wheel mount, as well as a hand cranked winch. Can I make it work with this particular item, or is there another extender available? I dont mind drilling a few holes, if needed. Of course, I know Id need longer chains and wiring. Please let me know. Thanks!

Hello Justin, thanks for reaching out. The Replacement Extra Long Trailer Tongue for CE Smith Multi-Sport Trailers # CES45FR may work for you, but it really depends on the configuration of your motorcycle trailer. The CE Smith tongue is designed to be used with their multi-sport trailers, and these trailers have an A-frame that is made to accommodate the 2" x 3" tongue. See the picture below.
So as long as the A-frame on your trailer can also be made to accommodate a 2" x 3" tongue, it could be made to work.
You will also need a coupler for a 2" tongue like part # CT-3001-Z if you don't have one already. The tongue has pre-drilled holes so ideally you would use those and not have to add any new holes to the tongue.
