Will Folding RV Steps Work on a 2006 Keystone Montana with an Inside Pocket Step

Updated 09/12/2025 | Published 05/20/2025

Question:

Does this have any issue folding into a model that has an inside pocket/step Versus a flat floor entry such as in my 2006 Keystone Montana?

Hey Robert, thanks for reaching out!

I spoke with my contact at MORryde and explained your situation to them, but they don't recommend going with their steps because it's most likely they won't fit.

An alternative upgrade to your RV steps is a set of TorkLift GlowStep Revolution steps like the part # TLA8003. These have feet with individual adjustments to give you the best footing and stability for your steps. If you let me know the mounting bracket dimensions and entry height (ground to mounting point - see attached photo) I can help you figure out which set will fit your Keystone!

Hey Robert, did you have a chance to check the mounting bracket dimensions and entry height for your Keystone? If you’re still looking for a solution, I’m happy to help!
