Is the Universal RV Door Security Strap Hardware Made of Stainless Steel?

Question:
Are the snaps and screw made from stainless steel? Looking to secure a boat anchor hatch which is used in saltwater.

Hey Guy, thanks for reaching out!
The Universal RV Door Security Strap # 37220615 does not have stainless steel metal parts so they will probably rust pretty quickly in a saltwater environment, even with the plastic caps on top of them.
I recommend trying to find some stainless hardware that you can substitute in for it to get some more life out of this kit.

Hey Guy, did you manage to find stainless hardware to use with the security strap for your boat anchor hatch? I'm curious about your solution because it could help others looking to secure their equipment in saltwater environments.
