Will this Thule Force 3 L fit on a 2017 CRV EXL with factory cross bars?

Hello Geoff, thanks for reaching out. The Thule Force 3 Rooftop Cargo Box # TH67SA can absolutely be used with the factory crossbars on your 2017 Honda CR-V EXL. The Force 3 will work with virtually any crossbar shape up to 3-1/2" wide and 1-11/16" tall so this includes round, square, aero and most factory crossbars.
Just keep in mind the crossbars must be between 23-5/8" and 36-1/8" apart, and you generally want to have the crossbars in their forwardmost position to avoid any clearance issues with the rear hatch. You will want to have at least 50-5/8" from the front crossbar to the line where the roof and the hatch meet. Otherwise, the hatch will contact the box before it opens fully, and you will need to be careful.
