Recommended Brakes w/ a Parking Break for a 2007 HiLo Towlite

Question:
Have a 2007 HiLo Towlite. Trying to upgrade a few things.Has 3.5klbs 10 inch axle, One, attempt to install a parking brake, two has rubber suspension axles [not serviced since new although a repack as been done this year], Being from Europe am used to the damper hitch coupling [handbrake included on those] ..but from info here its limited to hydraulic? Tks

Hey Keith! It sounds like you have torsions axle which we do not offer replacements for if that's what you're looking to do.
The Dexter Electric Trailer Brakes item # K23-086-087-00, include the parking brake feature. These brakes will work if your current ones measure 10" diameter x 2-1/4" wide and have a 4 bolt mounting pattern.
You will need to use the Dexter Parking Brake Kit with Breakaway for Hydraulic Drum Brakes item # T2385200 to engage the parking brake feature on the brakes. This will work with electrical brakes as well.
If you could get me some part numbers off of your hubs or a brake assembly I can confirm which brakes you need. Just leave this information in the comment box below.
