Question:
I have a keel roller where the end cap came off presumably from vibration and the keel roller got pushed down and wedged in the bracket lucky, as it saved the hull from getting gouged by the bracket. Is that likely from vibration? Is there anything I should do to stop that? Maybe a shaft that has a cotter pin, or a lock nut? I dont see anything like that on the website, but maybe I missed it.

Hey Peter, generally the pal nuts on the end of the roller shafts hold the shaft tight enough that they don't just pop off unless something possibly hit it and damaged it. Vibration is not known to allow them to pop off so I would assume this is more of a fluke situation than anything else.
For replacement pal nuts we have the part # CE10800 for a 1/2 inch diameter shaft or the part # CE10801 for 5/8 inch diameter.
