Do The Kenda Karrier Tires KE48KV Have A Date Code?

Question:

Would it be possible to get the date off a pair of tires before I purchase them to make sure they are not old stock? Kenda ST175/80R13 trailer tires part KE48KV. I will need 2 tires. Thanks.

Hello Kevin, thanks for reaching out. I went out to our warehouse and looked at the two # KE48KV tires we have in stock. The date code is 0824 so they were made in like February or March of last year.

Keep in mind our warehouse is climate controlled, and tires do not age in proper storage. The warranty starts when you receive them. I had my hands on those things and they look brand new, they were still shiny and clean and everything. UV rays are a tires worst enemy and these have never seen the sun.
