Question:

I have a 2020 Lexus RX 450h with a hands free lift gate swipe foot under bumper and lift gate opens. Is there a hitch you have that will work on this model while not interfering with the handsfree liftgate operation?

Hello David,

Great question. With any after market hitch there is always the possibility that it could be in the way of the hands free tailgate. In our experience with installing the hitches, even if it does cover it slightly you can still move your foot to the side of the receiver and it will still work, just have to find the sweet spot.

@KateF - The trailer hitch fits perfectly and works great. My primary use is to carry a bike rack for e-bikes and have been very pleased with how well it works. All the parts I needed for installation were provided and the instructions were excellent. Tip for the novice: purchase or borrow a torque wrench to ensure bolts are properly tightened. I was so pleased with my purchase that I bought another hitch from eTrailer for my other car (same experience with that installation as well).
