Question:
Hello: We have a 2024 Alliance 26RD. It was dealer stock and there is a second air conditioner over the bed area. We would like to know if this fan can be installed in place of a Coleman Max Q air conditioner? Thank You

Hi there Mike! Yes, you can technically replace the Coleman Max Q AC in your 2024 Alliance 26RD with a MaxxFan, but there are a few things to keep in mind. The MaxxFan part # MA00-04500K will fit in the same 14" x 14" roof opening, which is great—but it’s important to know that the MaxxFan is a ventilation fan, not an air conditioner. So it’ll help move air and keep things fresh, but it won’t cool the RV like your current AC does.
Also, swapping from an AC to a fan might mean you’ll need to tweak the wiring or make a few adjustments to get everything installed properly. The MaxxFan only has a ground and a power wire so it should be easy to make that switch.
If you’re just trying to replace your AC, I’d be happy to recommend some options that are a closer match and easier to install. Just let me know what you’re hoping to do, and I’ll help you get there!
