Question:
does the valterra electric easy valve continue to draw current while it is open? This could be problematic if it drains battery while it is open and then it will not close. thanks Jeff

Hi Jeff,
Great question! The Valterra Easy Valve # E40B-8 is designed to be energy efficient, it only draws power while it’s actively opening or closing. That process usually takes just a few seconds. Once the valve reaches either the fully open or fully closed position, it stops drawing current thanks to built-in limit switches. So, even if the valve is left open, it won’t keep pulling power and draining your battery. That means you won’t run into a situation where the battery dies just because the valve was left open. As long as there’s power available when you need to operate it, you’re good to go!
Let me know if you need anything else, happy to help! Do you have any fun trips planned in the near future?
