Can a Truck Bed Camper and Bike Rack Be Lit Up at the Same Time With One Connector?
Updated 10/22/2025 | Published 04/06/2025 >
Question:
I have a truck camper that I plug into my rear 7 way plug on the back of my 2018 Tundra, but also want to use the Kuhl Bike Rack that is four way for Lights. I cannot use both at once because the covers on the connector cannot both be open at the same time. Can you tell me if this can even be done Using both connectors at once to power both the camper and the bike rack lights, and if there is an adapter or something I can buy that will maybe split the 7 way? Please help!!

Hey Stuart, thanks for stopping in! Yes this can be done, you'd just have to use the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package # C55774. This will allow you to use both connectors at the same time by connecting to the US car connector at the back of your Tundra.
If you have any other questions, please feel free to drop a comment and let me know!

Hey Stuart, how did things go with the Curt T-Connector on your Tundra? Were you able to power both the camper and the bike rack lights at the same time? Your update could make it easier for the next person with the same setup.
