Looking For Replacement Outer Bearing For 2008 Holmes 18' Trailer
Updated 04/17/2025 | Published 04/05/2025 >
Question:
I have a 2008 Holmes 18 foot dual axle trailer, 10k weight capacity and I need the outer bearing replaced. The inside diameter is 1 1/4”. I purchased one but the od is smaller than the current one. It looks like the od on it is 5.53cm or 2.23 inches or 2 3/16. I used a caliper but new to reading those. Is this the correct bearing?

Hello Matthew, thanks for reaching out. The # LM67048 bearing does have a 1.250" ID. This bearing goes with the # LM67010 race which has a 2.328" OD and the ID is like 2.15". So it sounds like the # LM67048 may not be correct for you.
Is there a number you can see stamped on your bearing? Getting the number may help to cross reference and find what you need. If your axle uses an uncommon/obsolete bearing size, the next thing we would look at is doing new hubs, or potentially a whole new axle.

Hey Jesse. Unfortunately there isn’t anything stamped on the bearings. That would have made this much easier for me. Appreciate the response
