How do you identify if the leg is a lead leg or a follow leg?

Hi David; assuming this came with your 2017 Forest River Cardinal 5th wheel the lead leg # LC83ED would be installed on the driver side (same side as the Power Unit Assembly) with the follow leg # LC23ED on the passenger side. Visually, the lead leg looks like the picture below and the follow leg is flat on top.
