The Furrion Chill FACR14SA-BL does already come with a start capacitor built-in. So you would not want to add the SoftStartRV Soft Start for Single Zone Air Conditioner Setup # SSR54FR.

If the start capacitor on your Furrion Chill FACR14SA-BL has gone bad, we do carry the replacement start capacitor.

We have 2 Furrion Facr14sa bl on our camper. Can we install soft starts on them to make it possible for us to use both on 30 AMP hook up.

@Gene The Facr14sa # FACR14SA-PS already has a built in start capacitor. The start capacitor in the Furrion Chill 14,500 BTU RV AC helps the compressor get going when you first turn it on. It gives the motor a quick boost of power so it can start up more easily, especially when power is limited, like when using a generator. Once the AC is running, the capacitor turns off. This helps prevent the AC from tripping breakers or struggling to start. Even with the soft start, you will need a 50 Amp hook up to be able to run both AC's at the same time.
