Will Curt Hitch 13438 CU78FR Work On 2021 Ford Explorer?

Question:
Will a CURT trailer hitch 13438 work on my 2021 Ford Explorer? It says it works for Ford Explorers where the 10th digit in the VIN is a B,C,D or L. My 10th digit is an M. Thank you.

Hello Carol, thanks for reaching out. Yes, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver 13438 will be a fit for your 2021 Ford Explorer. According to Curt, this fits all models of the 2021 Explorer. Some trimming of the underbody panel, heat shield and bumper fascia will be required. Additional steps will be required for vehicles with the kick sensor. We offer the 13438 hitch as part # CU78FR.
