Will Malone Spare Tire Carrier MPG465 Work With The Malone LowBed MicroSport Trailer MPG464-LB?

Can the Spare Tire for Malone MicroSport Trailer - 12inch Galvanized with Locking Attachment Part Number: MPG465 be mounted on the Malone LowBed MicroSport Trailer with 78inch Crossbars Part Number: MPG464-LB? and if so, will the tire when mounted remain below the height of the crossbars? Also are there any storage box options for this trailer that can be mounted that will also remain below the crossbars height? Thanks for your time!

Hello David, thanks for reaching out. The Spare Tire for Malone MicroSport Trailer # MPG465 will indeed mount to the Malone LowBed MicroSport Trailer # MPG464-LB. The spare tire carrier comes with a u-bolt that attaches to the 3" x 2" tongue of the trailer. With the low bed trailer, the spare tire would sit above the crossbar height so you would probably want to move the tire farther forward on the tongue depending on how large your kayaks are.
I am not aware of any storage box that would mount to this and remain under the crossbars. There is just not a lot of space to work with there.
