Will Dexter Disc Brake Assembly Fit Load Rite Trailer

Updated 10/22/2025 | Published 03/26/2025

Question:

Will this rotor fit a Loadrite 3500lb trailer without changing the mounting bracket? It came with 9.6inch rotors and I just want to replace them without changing the mounting bracket. What other brand rotors and calipers will bolt on without changing the mounting bracket? Thank you

Hi Richard; we have no way of knowing what mounting bracket/brakes are on your Load Rite trailer. If you have Dexter/Tie Down Engineering disc brakes with a 9.6" rotor there is a good chance the # DX89UR will fit. However, it is probably best to assume you will need to swap out the mounting bracket without more information. If it isn't a direct replacement I would go ahead and swap out the pair of disc brakes so everything is the same.

Hey Richard, did you end up trying the Dexter 9.6-inch rotor on your Load Rite trailer? Knowing whether it matched your existing bracket could help others with the same setup. Your update could make it easier for the next person with similar brakes.
