Will this mark or damage the paint on roof or doorframe?

Hey Martin thanks for stopping by! The Rhino Rack ROC25 Roof Rack # RR53TR should not scratch the paint on your Equinox because the door clamps have a rubber coating on the piece that actually goes in!
