Question:

I have a 2015 GMC canyon I want to tow behind motorhome. I have every thing that I need except back plate, my tow bar is a road master- tow master 501 what base plate do buy.

Hey Steve thanks for stopping in! To tow your 2015 GMC Canyon behind your motorhome you'd just need the Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit # RM-523182-4 which will work wonderfully with your Roadmaster StowMaster # RM-501.

My question is my 2015 canyon has adaptive cruise, will this still work for me if I shut the adaptive cruise off.

@StevenN If you have adaptive cruise control, then the base plate # RM-523182-4RM-523182-4 is not going to work, unfortunately. With that said, all of the base plates we have for your Canyon are tabless so they are not going to be compatible with your StowMaster tow bar either. Your best bet would be to use a base plate like # e98966 and a different tow bar like # e34ZR.
