Updated 10/27/2025 | Published 03/20/2025

Question:

My current trailer has a Titan 2inch ball with brakes. The trailer is from 2020 but i have no info on the Titan receiver. Pictures attached. Will this be a bolt on replacement?

Hey Andrew! What kind of trailer do you have? The # T4093200 could replace it but I'm assuming you're looking for another 2" coupler and not a lunette ring. This is also rated for drum brakes. Since the sticker on your coupler says it is for disc brakes I'll assume you have disc brakes on the trailer. It also looks like you have an electric lockout. Based on this I recommend the Dexter Zinc-Plated Brake Actuator w/ Electric Lockout # T47457207K for a replacement.

This is slightly different with a multi-fit ball so it works with 1-7/8", 2" and 50-mm balls. I don't know the bolt pattern on your current actuator but I can tell you the bolt holes on this are 3" apart on center. This design comes from the old Titan model so there is a good chance it will match up but, I would double check to be sure. If it doesn't, you can drill new holes for installation.

Hey Andrew, how did the fit turn out with the Dexter brake actuator you tried on your trailer? It sounds like the bolt pattern might have been close to your old Titan model. Your update could make it easier for others replacing a similar setup.
