Question:

Hello I am looking to get a tow kit for my 2018 Mazda 3 Grand touring sedan. I am looking at the Curt wiring kit C55567, but I am unsure it will work with my led tail lights. The main Curt website says it works with all Mazda 3 models, but I would like to verify with you if this kit will work or you can recommend another. Thanks

Hey Eric, the Curt T-Connector # C55567 is actually not going to work with your LED taillights, unfortunately. Instead, you'd want to go with the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118405 which will work with or without LED taillights.

This harness has the same setup as the Curt one, so it'll just plug right in, and has an integrated tail light converter.

Hey Eric, how did the T-One wiring harness work out with your Mazda 3’s LED taillights? Your update could make it easier for the next person trying to find the right wiring kit for their setup.
