Question:

I’m looking for a turret for this product. Do you sell them separately? 5th Airborne Premium 5th Wheel Air Ride King Pin with Sidewinder - No Turret - 16,000 lbs Thanks for your help in this matter. Ken

Hey Ken thanks for stopping by! I checked our system and it looks like all of the turrets we used to carry for the 5th Airborne Premium 5th Wheel Air Ride King Pin with Sidewinder # 5AS16K have been marked NLA so we don't have them anymore, unfortunately.

Instead, you could use the Reese Sidewinder 5th Wheel King Pin with Rotating Turret # RP34FR which is essentially the same thing but includes the turret and has a larger 20k capacity.

What kind of trailer do you have? If there is anything else you need help with, please feel free to drop a comment and let me know!

I have a Montana 311RD. Dry weight is 11800 so it’s a fairly light camper. Went across the scales both truck camper gear and full tank of water we weigh about 22800 total. I like the sidewinder with the airbags for a comfortable ride, but last trip I turned too tight and popped my back window and $2500 damage to the trailer. So I was looking at the auto slides but the reviews were not as good as I thought… liked the sidewinder for less moving parts… what you your opinion on both types of hitch and pin box ?

@KenM I personally like the auto slide with a fixed pin box for the short beds. Less moving parts on the trailer, and less chance for that kind of damage to the trailer.
