Question:
Is this a good choice for my RV? Or would a 12V fridge work better?

Hey Sunny, the Hotpoint RV Mini Fridge part # GE93FR is a great choice for an RV. It would work just as well as a 12 volt RV fridge but since 120 volt is more common in RVs it would be easier than trying to wire up a fridge directly to 12 volt wiring. This would basically just plug into a standard outlet like your RV would have.
