How To Install Handle On Curt A16 5th Wheel Hitch Head

Question:

I have the curt a16 it is installed but the handle does not slide all the way on. So I cant install the spring and finish.

Hey Jess, sorry about the trouble you're having, that sounds frustrating. I see you just bought the Curt A16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package - Dual Jaw - 16,000 lbs # C74FR from us; thanks for your purchase.
I attached a demonstration video (scroll down and you'll see it) which shows how to remove and install a new handle and spring on this hitch head, and it should help you out a lot. If you are still having issues and suspect that something is defective in any way, feel free to comment below and we can dive deeper to get you taken care of since it would be under warranty still.
