TorkLift Tie Downs for 2008 Toyota Tundra

Updated 10/27/2025 | Published 03/11/2025

Question:

Good morning I have a 2008 double cab Tundra with an 8 foot bed and no running boards. I want to put a slide in camper Lance 650 in the bed and need to purchase a tie down kit. I have heard that Torklift tie downs are the best but when I look on your site I cannot find one set of tie downs for both front and back. I might be looking in the wrong place. Do I need to buy a separate kit for front and rear or is there one kit that will provide for both. Thank you. Tom C

Hey Tom! Do you have the factory hitch on your 2008 Tundra? Assuming you do, the TorkLift Tie Downs - Custom Frame Mount # TL84VV is what you need. This comes with the front and rear tie-downs. The only other thing you will need is turnbuckles like the TorkLift Locking FastGun Turnbuckles # TLS9522-2-LK to keep your Lance 650 secure. Any big trips planned with your camper this summer?

Hey Tom, how did the TorkLift tie downs and FastGun turnbuckles work out with your Lance 650 and Tundra setup? Your feedback could really help others looking to secure a similar camper.
