Is the Reese Under-Bed Kit the Same as the OEM Puck System for a 2024 Ford F-250 Super Duty?

Question:
I am looking at this hitch for my 2024 F250 with out the factory prep. Based on reading the installation instructions, and my truck, I also need the following 30183, and 30924. I assume this kit comes with 30924 since it is listed in the description. What about 30183?. I do not have the welded rails is talks about on the frame. I also assume that these pucks are the same as the stock oem, and would be able to use the ford 5th wheel hitch. I like having both options of the goose neck, and the 5th wheel

Hey David, great questions!
The Under-Bed Rail and Installation Kit # RP67KR comes with both the 30183 and 30924 parts of the hitch system and are the same as the Ford OEM puck system. All you need is this kit and you'll have the 4 pucks and center gooseneck receiver just like if you got it installed from the factory!
One other thing I do recommend picking up while you're at it is the Hopkins Wiring Kit # 41157 so you can have a 7-Way connector in your truck bed for easier hookup instead of having to reach all the way down to your bumper.
I'm guessing from your question that you already have the Ford 5th wheel hitch?

Hey David, how did the Under-Bed Rail and Installation Kit work out on your F250? Did it give you the same setup as the factory puck system like you were hoping for? Your update could make it easier for others setting up a similar hitch.
