Question:
Will I need tools to install or remove this? In the past Ive had trouble with an old box that used u-bolts and it was a pain in the keister.

Hello Tobi, thanks for reaching out. You will not need any tools to install the Thule Force 3 XXL Rooftop Cargo Box # TH27SA on your crossbars. This box uses "quick-grip" clamps which allow you to easily attach the box to the crossbars without any tools. You just have to tighten the hand knobs. The same goes for removing the box. You can do it all by hand.

Hey Tobi, how did things go with the Thule Force 3 XXL cargo box and its quick-grip clamps? Was the hand-tightening setup easier than the old u-bolt style you mentioned? Your feedback could really help others comparing these mounting systems.
