What is Tongue Weight Rating of Reese Round Bar 49911

Question:
Over a year ago I bought a Reese round bar wdh 49911 8000lb 800 tongue. I now have a smaller trailer ,a casita 17. Can I buy the lighter duty round bars only,which is 5000 lb 500 tongue wt would this work with my existing Reese 49911? Thanks Greg

Hey Greg, if you are sure you have the 49911 you actually have the correct rated spring bars. It's the 49912 that is rated for between 400 and 500 lbs. We don't have replacement bars for the 49911 though so hopefully that's what you have or you'd need a new system like the part # RE34FR.
