Hi Todd; it will likely work with your Yukon XL but you will have to mock it up/measure to see. Also, it may limit the turning radius depending on your trailer and the exact bike rack you have. We don't have a way of knowing this without measuring or directly testing it.

The distance from the top of the A-frame to the top of the Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk Bike Rack # CC-275 is 33-1/2". Measure 33-1/2" up from the point you plan to mount it and you will see where it sits on the trailer. From there, you can use your bike rack measurements or even hold up the bike rack (if it isn't too heavy) to see where everything would sit with your Yukon XL.

If you find that you can't mount it far enough back on the frame to get good clearance you could also check to see if your bike rack will work with it facing backwards toward the trailer. It can go down to 12" for the frame width so you can get it fairly close to the coupler. If you have a 1 or 2-bike rack there may be enough room for it to fit in that configuration.

Hey Todd, were you able to measure things out to see if the Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk fit well with your Yukon XL and Lance 1475? It’d be great to know if you had enough clearance for turning. Your results could really help others working with a similar setup.

I was able to get this to work with modifications. I shortened the upright bars of the bike bunk to move them as far back as possible so that the bars followed the contour of the lance trailer. I then bought an inexpensive bike rack and mounted the rails of that rack to a 2 inch square steel tube to minimize length projecting forward. In order to allow maximum turning radius I then added a 9 inch extension to my hitch Works well now but required bike bunk and rack modifications and still needed hitch extension
