Malone LowBed MicroSport Trailer MAL25FR - What Is Max Kayak Width When Carrying Two?

Malone LowBed MicroSport Trailer for 2 Heavy Kayaks - 7 Bunks - 800 lbs - I have 2 fishing kayaks. What is the maximum width each kayak can be and still fit side by side? Thank you

Hello Lori, good question. The Malone LowBed MicroSport Trailer # MAL25FR comes with 78" crossbars, so it can easily accommodate most sizes of fishing kayak. Most fishing kayaks are between like 30"-40" wide. Depending on where you place the bunks, the kayaks could be upwards of 40" wide or even more and still fit on the trailer.
What kind of fishing kayaks do you have? How wide are they? We have one of these kayak trailers that we use here around the shop from time to time, and I have yet to encounter any actual kayak that doesn't fit. You can just slide the bunks farther outboard on the crossbars as needed.
