Will LubriPlate Poly HP-2 Work with Grease in Hub Currently
Updated 10/30/2025 | Published 02/20/2025 >
Question:
I just want to get a 1 oz tube of this grease a use my grease gun on the zerk fitting to displace the old grease. I read on your site that some greases are incompatible. How can I know if this will be a problem? I would rather not have to take the whole assembly apart to remove all of the old grease.

Hey Stewart, the LubriPlate Poly part # L11465 that you referenced is a universal enough blend that it's going to work with what you have now in your hubs and you wouldn't have to worry about compatibility.

Hey Stewart, how did things go using the LubriPlate Poly grease in your hubs? It’d be great to hear if it blended smoothly with the old grease. Your update could make it easier for others with the same concern.
