Hi purchase and receive brake controller for 2013 toyota tundra ended up crashing tundra total loss. Purchase a 2011 chev 1500 now.do I need a whole new controller for a chev or can I purchase the wiring kit and install the unit on my chev.it was never installed in the tundra

Hey Corey, sorry about your truck! Hope everyone was okay. So it looks like you bought the Prodigy P3 part # 90195 a couple months ago so to install it in your 2011 Chevy Silverado 1500 you would actually already have everything you need since there isn't port under the dash for a controller to plug in. Instead there are 4 blunt cut wires there that you would need to wire the controller to using the universal harness that come with the controller.
If for some reason you lost that harness we have it as a replacement with the part # 20127.
If you check out the link I attached on this page you will see exactly how to wire in and activate the controller on your truck. I also attached an install video that would walk you through it too.
