Published 01/24/2025

Question:

Hi, I bought a car rack from etrailer.com a few years ago. It was 1 Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars - Aluminum - Silver - 46 Long - Qty 2 2 Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Legs for Vortex Aero Crossbars - Naked Roofs or Fixed Mounting Points - Qty 4 3 Custom DK Fit Kit for 4 Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Roof Rack Legs - Naked Roof I was wondering if these would fit a 2016 Toyota Corolla. Thank you! Please let me know.

Hello Amanda,

I do have some good news for you, 2 of the items will be able to swap over to the 2016 Toyota Corolla! The part that will not transfer over is the pads as they are the only part that is custom fit to the vehicle. I was able to look up your order when you purchased the rack and I see that it was for a 2001 Honda Accord which has a different shape roof than your Corolla. The only part you need to purchase is the Custom DK Fit Kit for 4 Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Roof Rack Legs - Naked Roof # DK383. I attached an install video as a refresher for the transfer.

People use roof racks for all different reason, what is the sole purpose for yours? You can respond by hitting the "respond to Kate F" below =)

Thank you for the speedy response. That is really helpful information. I appreciate it. Sorry, I should’ve asked this earlier but would the initial set up fit a 2013 Honda CRV? .

@Amanda That is what I am here for, so ask away =) It would be the same thing for the 2013 Honda CRV, you would need the # DK284 for the pads. That is if it has a naked roof, if the CRV has any kind of factory bars that run from the front to the back of the vehicle please let me know. Sounds like you might be car shopping, so if you need any other ones for me to look at, just say the word.
