Hey Jason,

Are you referring to the Thule Helium Aero 2 bike rack? If so, are you saying the bolt for the knob broke or the part that the knob threads into broke?

The part that the knob threads into broke the top corner of the threaded bolt that stops the knob from screwing off broke and now the knob just screws all the way off instead of compressing the anti sway mechanism thing that tightens in the hitch

@Jason That part unfortunately isn't replaceable. You would need a whole new stinger assembly, which unfortunately isn't available because the rack was discontinued back in early 2019. You could see if someone else has this rack secondhand and use parts from it, but you're looking at a total replacement of the rack otherwise. You could maybe make an anti-rattle device like the # e99007 work to help prevent rattling but it's not going to be as easy of an install/removal since it requires tools instead of just a simple knob. If you decide you want to look for a new rack then let me know what kind of bikes you plan on hauling around and what preferences you have for the rack and I'd be happy to compare the available options and make some recommendations for you.
