Question:

Good afternoon. I’m looking for a lift kit for my airstream Globetrotter 27fb. I can’t get to it to verify the axles right now. I also would like to know if the trailer axles need to be aligned after installation. Thanks for your help.

Hey Jeff, it looks like your Airsteam Globetrotter 27FB has tandem 6k axles so a lift kit like the Torflex Lift Kit # K71-724-02 that you were looking at should work great.

The only caveat is that this kit is designed specifically for #11 Torflex axles so you'd need to verify that first.

You could also use the Correct Track Trailer Alignment and Lift Kit # RR23QX which will work with 3" wide x 3-3/4" tall hangers, or 3" wide x 5" tall hangers and leaf springs up to 2" wide. If want 2" of lift you'd need an additional single axle system # LC87120 for the center bracket.

I’m sorry I should have put the year of my trailer in my original question. It’s a 2025 globetrotter 27fb. The alignment kit you referenced looks to be for a leaf sprung axle. Would it still be the same lift kit? And will I need to align the axles or is it just bolt the lift in and I’m done. Thanks.

@JeffT Hey Jeff that's correct, the Correct Track Trailer Alignment and Lift Kit # RR23QX is for leaf sprung axles, so the kit wouldn't change. Also, this is a lift and alignment kit, so it will correct misalignment as well as lift the trailer 1 1/4" to 2 1/4".
