Hey Ron,

It's not recommended to only put tire chains on one tire of each side of the dually. Each wheel is designed to balance the load and with two out of four tires being on chains the weight isn't being distributed evenly and could cause damage. In an emergency situation if that's your only option then of course go for it, but there is the risk of damage to the vehicle.
