Hi Pam; yes, your 2020 Chevrolet Traverse AWD can be flat towed. The best place to find this information is in your owner's manual. If there were specifics for flat towing such as 2WD models only it would be called out in the manual. Make sure you follow all of the instructions starting on page 315.
To flat tow your vehicle you will need a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, wiring, and a supplemental braking system. I recommend the following:
-Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM-523200-5
-Roadmaster Falcon All-Terrain Tow Bar # RM-522
-Roadmaster 64" Single Hook, Straight Safety Cables # RM-645
-Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-15267
-Demco Stay-IN-Play Duo Flat Tow Brake System for RVs w/ Hydraulic Brakes # SM99251
OR
-Demco Air Force One Flat Tow Brake System for RVs w/ Air Brakes # SM99243
The brake system depends on whether your RV has hydraulic or air brakes. More than likely you will also need a high-low adapter to keep your setup level. I attached a help article below which explains how to measure and choose the correct adapter for your reference.

Hey Pam, how did things go getting your Traverse ready for flat towing? I'm curious if the Roadmaster base plate kit and tow bar setup worked smoothly with your AWD model. Your update could make it easier for others setting up a similar vehicle.
