Can 2024 Toyota Tundra Tow Fifth Wheel Trailer

Question:
I have a light 3000 fifth wheel that I am currently pulling with a short 5.5 foot bed 2012 f150. I was wanting to see if I could pull the same trailer with a 5.5 foot bed 2024 Toyota tundra. I already have the hitch and etrailer does not list any hitch rail kits for the 2024 Toyota? does this mean Im out of luck? Any recommendations, or should I just buy another ford?

Hey Mike, so there just really isn't any great options for fifth wheel towing for a 2024 Toyota Tundra so if you are on the fence about what truck to go with I would lean with going with a Ford like you mentioned. Does your fifth wheel trailer have a pivoting pin box though? Or how are you able to have enough turning clearance?

So far, I haven't needed any sort of modification. I have an old Escape 19 foot fifth wheel. It's not 8 feet wide and so it doesn't want to hit the cab when I turn. It's about as wide as the truck and set back enough from the cab that I've never had a problem. I'm thinking that the same would be true of a Tacoma, but it looks like the Ford is an easier option, and probably would be easier to sell the rig in the end.
