Is a 2" Hitch Available for a 2008 Honda Accord

Question:
I’m am looking for a 2” trailer hitch for a 2008 Honda accord. Everything I am finding for this car is 1 1/4”. Is there an option in 2”?

Hey Kevin,
There were only 1-1/4" Class I hitches made for your 2008 Honda Accord. You can check with some local shops to see if any of them would be willing to try fabricating the Curt # E17 on your vehicle, but more likely than not you'll want to stick with a custom hitch and for that I recommend the Curt # C11496.
If you let me know what you plan on using the trailer hitch for I'd be more than happy to see if we have any alternative solutions for you!

Jon, thanks for the quick response. I will be using the hitch for an e-bike carrier that holds 3 bikes, probably about 230 pounds plus the carrier. Maybe occasionally for a cargo carrier as well. I don’t want to use an adapter if I don’t have to to convert from 1 1/4 to 2” as it will just make everything slightly longer. Definitely would never be towing anything with it tho.
