Installation of Ranch Hitch Adapter on Rhino Box
Updated 12/23/2024 | Published 12/20/2024 >
Question:
Trying to install the ranch hitch adapter onto my arctic wolf rhino pin box, it seems as though non of the bolts holes will give me any place to drill the pin box. Its much smaller than others Ive seen. Should I proceed without drilling since the unit is a lighter unit?

Hi Les; you definitely can't use the bolts to install the # AM3100 on your Rhino Box. Your only option will be to weld it on for installation. I went ahead and verified this with Andersen Hitches. It will need the 4 one-inch tack welds placed by a certified welder as outlined in the installation manual.

Thanks, I was hoping to avoid the welding, in case I wanted to use the pin. Guess I have a choice to make. Les
