Amp Draw For The Air Lift Towtal View RV Backup Camera System

Updated 12/30/2024 | Published 12/18/2024

Question:

Hi Andy, 1st things first. Thank you for all your Quality products and customer service. Just watched backup camera video. Because our little dash cam needs to be put on a 40 Amp fuse which I think is ridiculous, I have to ask, what are the amps this would need? Lastly please open a place here in Springfield Missouri so when I retire I can work for Etrailer.

Hi Tim,

The Air Lift Towtal View HD RV Backup Camera System w/ Night Vision # AL35DQ camera pulls 240-420 milliamps (mA), with the average pull being 300mA. The monitor will pull about 250mA when plugged into a USB-C outlet.

I'm not sure when we'll be expanding again but we do visit Springfield quite a bit for different RV events so you should definitely stop by our booth some time when we're in town.

We will be going to the Mega RV Show here in Spfd the end of February the first couple of days in March. Will you all be there on a booth?

@Tim I'll have to ask about that one but we should definitely be there for 2025's MOORE Expo.
