What to Check When Yakima MOD HomeBase Storage System is Causing a Squeaking Noise

My Mod drawers squeak when driving. Is there a way to prevent this? Thank you.

Hey Paul,
The Yakima MOD HomeBase SUV Storage Drawer # Y55DJ shouldn't be making a squeaking noise so I reached out to my contact at Yakima for some tips and places to check.
He said if we can find where that noise is coming from directly it will help. Some things to check would be the drawer sliders, which you can add some lubricant to, and the four tie-downs, which you can ensure are secured properly.
One other thing might be that the weight of the MOD system is causing something to squeak in your vehicle.
If you can try to isolate directly where that noise is coming from and let me know, I'd be more than happy to help you look into this further!
