Question:
Installed the Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver w/ Cast Center - Custom Fit - Class V - 2inch Part Number: 41944 hitch. Can you confirm that the Durabilt Safety Chain Connectors for 1/2inch Chain - 12,000 lbs - Qty 2 Part Number: DU35QR will fit the hitch safety chain loops and how much free play there is when the Durabilt is installed? These hitch loops are reinforced and definitely not the “standard” size. Thanks!

Hey Alex,
I agree that Draw-Tite beefs up their safety chain loops quite a bit compared to most manufacturers so I went out to the warehouse and test-fit the Durabilt Safety Chain Connectors # DU35QR on the loops of the # 41944 and found that they are a fit.

Hey Alex, how did the Durabilt safety chain connectors fit on your Draw-Tite hitch loops once you tried them out? It’d be great to know how much free play you ended up with. Your feedback could help others using the same heavy-duty setup.
