Question:
I have a 2003 F150 XLT with the 7 pin and 4 pin trailer connectors. The plug which connects the wiring to the rear vehicle side of the plug has broken. Can you suggest a replacement? It appears the factory harness connects to the car above the spare.tire in the drivers side then connects to the 7 pin, 4 pin and drivers side tail light. Thank you.

Hey Walt,
Since you have a factory connector you can use the harness included with the Tekonsha # 118242 you were looking at and then swap out the 7-way socket with part # 30955 so that you have functioning 4-way and 7-way connectors that can be used at the same time.
Since this harness is designed to tee into your factory wiring instead of replace the old wiring I would tee it in and then just zip tie up the old wiring running to the 7-way to keep your new harness's connector from being open to the elements and susceptible to corrosion. I've attached the installation video for # 118242 to give you some pointers on swapping over the wire harnesses/connectors.
The picture you sent shows one connector but your wording makes it sound like you might have multiple connection points? If that's true then let me know and I can adjust the parts as needed.

Hey Walt, how did things go with the new harness and 7-way/4-way connector on your F150? Did the tee-in setup work out the way you needed? Your update could make it easier for others dealing with the same factory wiring.
