Can Canvas Fabric From A Dometic Powered RV Awning Be Replaced With Solera Vinyl Awning Fabric

Question:
I have a Dometic power awning that has a canvas fabric. Can I replace the canvas with a vinyl fabric. I believe the vinyl will be easier on the motor

Hey Scott,
The fabric is interchangeable between brands so you would be able to switch to vinyl. To find the correct length we'll need to measure from the center of one awning arm to the center of the other awning arm (depicted below). Once we know this length I can see what color options we have for it. Do you have a preference?
