Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look together at this Pacbrake Alpha HD Pro Rear Axle Airbag Suspension Kit with Internal Jounce Bumpers and Stainless Steel Hardware. Now this has been designed to fit your 2014 to current RAM 500, both the two-wheel and four-wheel drive models and on custom fit parts such as this kit, I do recommend taking advantage of our Vehicle Fit Guide here at etrailer. Just pop in the year, make and model of your vehicle and answer any other questions that it might have for you. And our Fit Guide will confirm if this set will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you.
So when the load gets heavy, your truck is gonna need more than just your factory rear springs hanging on for dear life. These airbags are gonna give you up to 5,000 pounds of rear axle support. It's gonna help keep your truck level and steady even when your trailer is loaded, the bed is packed and the miles are long. So what that means for you is no more rear end sag throwing off your braking or steering or your headlights pointing up into the sky. Now bottoming out just doesn't feel rough.
It can actually wreck your airbags. That's why this system includes jounce bumpers inside of each bag. As you can see on that example that I have there for you on your screen, so even with no air pressure, your suspension has a built-in safety net. You're gonna be able to safely run at zero PSI when unloaded, which means no harsh rebound, just a smooth factory style ride. Now this does include these stainless steel braided airlines, which are gonna be more durable and resistant to wear compared to standard rubber lines.
You're also gonna get these stainless steel roll plates, which are gonna help protect the airbags along with Schrader valve. So you can easily inflate or adjust the air pressure with using a standard air source. Now on your screen, I wanna pop up a picture there. You're gonna get this hardware here that you see there on your screen. The top picture is just the standard hardware that typically comes with these airbags, and then you see the brackets laid out there as well.
I kind of have them roughly put together here on my table just to show you how things are gonna be put together. But the bottom photo is the stainless steel hardware upgrade kit that is included with this as well. So I did not have the room on my tabletop to lay all the hardware out, so I just wanted to show you what you we inchesre gonna be getting. You're not gonna use all of that hardware, but again, I just wanted you to be aware of what's gonna be included altogether in this kit. But that stainless steel is gonna be a big upgrade because it's built to last in harsh conditions. As you know, stainless steel resists rust and corrosion much better than the standard materials. It's also stronger and less prone to damage, so you're gonna be less likely to deal with leaks and wear over time. Now these air springs are gonna give you full control over your ride height and firmness with adjustable air pressure from five to 100 PSI. So for example, if you're hauling a 5th wheel or a full bed of gravel, you can crank that air pressure up. If you're unloaded and heading home, you can drop it back down for a softer ride. These springs are built with one-inch thick corrosion-resistant end caps and reinforced with 20 internal support wires giving you maximum strength under that heavy load. And then these also include these powder coated, laser cut steel brackets that are going to mount right to the frame of your vehicle. No welding, no drilling. Again, they're custom fit. Everything is premium about Pacbrake kits from the air springs to the materials used on the hardware. It's one of my favorite air spring kits that we carry here at etrailer. Now again, the load support is gonna be up to 5,000 pounds, but just be aware that air springs don't actually increase your weight carrying capacity. So you wanna make sure that you're not exceeding your truck's manufacturer's recommended weight limit. If you want help with installation, we do have you covered.
