Question:
I have a trailer that has electric over hydraulic brakes. I had to install a TBA HBA-CAM 381-7073 for it to work with my 2017 Sierra. I know have a 2018 Silverado too and I have no brakes with this truck connected.

Hey Bryan,
I'm guessing you still have the Hydrastar Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator Adapter Module # HBA-CAM installed on your trailer? Hydrastar says that this is only required on GM trucks up to the 2017 model year, but we've seen instances where a 2018 or newer truck still needs it.
If you took the module off, go ahead and trying getting it installed again, otherwise just let me know if it's already on there and I can see if Hydrastar has a different solution.
I also looked up the online owner's manual for your truck and there were a few troubleshooting steps (page 325) that you might find helpful as well.

Hey Bryan, did reinstalling the Hydrastar adapter module get your trailer brakes working with the Silverado? Knowing what fixed it could really help others switching between similar trucks.
